Job description

Position Title: Associate Attorney
This position offers a unique opportunity for an attorney to join a well-established management-side employment law firm. The firm has been in operation for over 35 years and is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to employee development. The role entails managing various employment law matters while providing legal guidance to clients. Attorneys will have the chance to work closely with partners and support staff in a supportive environment. There is no billable hour requirement, allowing for a focus on quality legal work and professional growth.
Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000/ Year DOE
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
  • Represent employer clients in employment law matters
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Manage case files and assist with litigation strategy
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances as needed
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates and legal guidance
  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on active matters
  • Stay current on employment laws and legal developments

Associate Attorney Requirements:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar license
  • 1-2 years of legal litigation experience (general litigation)
  • Open to newly licensed attorneys (training provided) or candidates sitting for the bar
  • Open to attorneys with 5-10 years of experience in employment defense
  • Employment defense experience is preferred
