As part of our team, you will provide individualized support to our attorneys and work on complex and confidential legal cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Compensation:

$55,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the court calendar for Criminal Law cases efficiently.
  • Reschedule court dates when there are scheduling conflicts.
  • Handle incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and take messages as needed.
  • Notify clients promptly about any changes in their court dates.
  • Establish new client files and act as a link between Intake and Litigation departments.
  • Contact courts to gather necessary case information.
  • Obtain discovery materials as required.
  • Coordinate phone and in-person meetings between clients and their attorneys.
  • E-File and submit motions in District and Circuit Courts.
  • Prepare and submit driver's license Hardship Appeals in Circuit Court.
  • Assist clients in obtaining Substance Use Assessments as necessary.
  • Facilitate client referrals for drug testing, educational programs, and interlock services.
  • Organize DAAD file setups and handle interlock violation hearing requests.
  • File requests for implied consent hearings with the SOS.
  • Draft and file various motions related to counsel withdrawal, travel, and probation.
  • Maintain organized case files using digital document management software.
  • Scan and store all client documents accurately.

Qualifications:
