Job description

P-8A EWO Subject Matter Expert and Courseware Developer (NAS Jax)
A. Harold and Associates, LLC, is looking for a full-time Maritime P-8A EWO to function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Courseware Developer at NAS Jacksonville. The contractor shall be part of a courseware maintenance team to meet the below outlined duties, responsibilities, and tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reviews, revises, and maintains aircrew courseware, syllabus, and training materials for P-8A aircraft systems, to include aircrew tasks, duties, aircraft systems, operations, and tactics
  • Produces design documents, scenarios, guided demonstrations, graphics requests, and student and instructor materials
  • Reviews and ensures quality, technical correctness and instructional soundness of draft and final interactive multimedia lessons
  • Works as a team member, and attends working group meetings and conferences as required
  • Participates in all phases of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model of courseware development
  • Understands and articulates project scope and vision to align with client and contract requirements
  • Ensures work performance meets deadlines and milestones
  • Interacts daily with active-duty P-8A Instructor EWOs and Government SMEs
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required and as directed by the Site Manager
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Must have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Maritime SME/Courseware Developer within the last seven years; or if beyond seven years, must have a minimum of two years’ experience working on courseware revision and maintenance within the last five years
  • Must have knowledge of P-8A operational performance capabilities and understanding of platform’s security classification and mission sensitivity issues
  • Qualifications as a P-8A EWO Instructor preferred, with at least one tour at the Maritime Fleet Replacement Squadron preferred
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, flexible in work assignments, work with little to no supervision, and enthusiastic
  • Superior time management, organizational and personnel management skills
  • Ensures work performance meets deadlines and milestones
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
