Golf Course Superintendent
Location: Las Vegas Golf Club, Las Vegas, Nevada
SCOPE
Manages the golf course maintenance department day-to-day activities through maintaining quality standards, developing and retaining maintenance employees and exceeding guest expectations. Must be able to do this in a consistent manner with consideration to a given annual budget.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement and execute effective turfgrass maintenance programs to ensure the health and appearance of the golf course.
  • Monitor and manage irrigation systems for optimal water usage and turf health.
  • Oversee mowing, aerification, topdressing, and other cultural practices to maintain course conditions.
  • Manage and maintain bunkers, greens, fairways, and other course features to meet or exceed established standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of groundskeeping staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient and effective course maintenance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in the development and management of the annual budget for the golf course maintenance department.
  • Monitor expenses and work within budgetary constraints.
  • Implement and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices on the golf course.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in golf course management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course management or a related field.
  • A degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of turfgrass, irrigation systems, and golf course equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in budget management and cost control.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $95,000
All employees must first contact their current manager before applying for an Internal position.
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00
