Job description

Duties

-Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment

-Assist Superintendent in keeping records of maintenance activities and equipment maintenance logs

-Assist in the planning and supervision of routine maintenance tasks such as mowing greens, tees, fairways, etc.

-Observe and evaluate playing conditions to take corrective action or report to Superintendent

-Work together with Co-Mechanics

-Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

-Experience as a head or assistant golf course mechanic, and/or related mechanical experience

-Working knowledge of general operation of gasoline and diesel engines

-Skilled in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools.

-Experience with grinding golf course reel and bedknife machinery

-Valid Driver’s license

-Ability to work well with others

-Neat, organized and clean
