As a Golf Starter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, enjoyable, and organized golfing experience for all guests. From offering course information and enforcing pace of play, to greeting each golfer with warmth and professionalism, you will be an essential part of creating a five-star golf journey from the very first tee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warm Guest Welcome: Greet guests with professionalism, creating a hospitable and friendly atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Course Oversight: Monitor play on the course, maintaining pace of play and upholding golf rules and etiquette.
- Player Support: Verify tee times and green fees, assist with player pairings, and provide daily course information such as hole placements, tee recommendations, and safety guidelines.
- Communication: Relay important messages and weather-related updates to players in a clear, timely manner.
- Etiquette & Safety Education: Promote proper golf etiquette and provide first aid assistance when needed.
- Course Care: Patrol the course to repair divots, fix ball marks, remove debris, and ensure cleanliness and order throughout the grounds.
- Lost & Found: Return misplaced items or equipment to their rightful owners or the golf shop.
- Teamwork & Coordination: Maintain professional radio communication with golf staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of daily play for operational planning and future improvements.
