17E Advance Individual Training (AIT) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Instructor/Writer
Location: Fort Gordon, GA
Description:
Seeking a Cyber Mission Force, 17E AIT STEM Instructor/Writer to support our Cyber team at Fort Gordon, GA.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
Facilitate the 17E AIT STEM Course on Fort Gordon
Required Skills:
Attend and graduate or have previously completed within the last five (5) years, the TRADOC Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Foundation Instructor Facilitator's Course (FIFC), or Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC); Faculty Development Program-1 (FDP-1) (as required); and Installation Staff Contractor Training Course (ISCTC) or equivalent (i.e., Cadre Training Course (CTC) or Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC)).Possess knowledge of andragogical teaching methods to include the ability to recognize student mistakes, why they may have made those mistakes, and how to get students back on track from where they are.
Possess the ability to diagnose underlying student misconceptions and misunderstandings from the mistakes they make and then help them correct those misconceptions and misunderstandings instead of merely addressing the mistakes themselves.
Possess advanced presentation skills (e.g., tailoring content and delivery for different audiences, presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).
Possess advanced writing skills (e.g.,tailoring content and delivery for different audiences using Bloom's Taxonomy).
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
At contract start date, all 17E AIT instructors shall possess a Secret Security Clearance
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program of study.
One (1) year technical experience or operational background in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or its subset Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.
