Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Kids Care Coordinator to oversee and enhance our childcare programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and family-friendly environment for our members. This role involves functioning as a lead to Kids Care staff, fostering meaningful relationships with children and parents, and maintaining efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful and memorable relationships with children and their families.

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere for all children in the program.

  • Design and implement age-appropriate learning and educational activities.

  • Foster a playful and family-friendly environment that promotes fun and engagement.

  • Maintain professional appearance and demonstrate a courteous and helpful attitude.

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to department standards and expectations.

  • Collaborate with team members to build a strong, cohesive, and effective team environment.

  • Schedule staff shifts and approve payroll and time-off requests, ensuring alignment with budgeted hours.

  • Monitor program performance, implement improvements, and attend departmental meetings as necessary.

  • Build strong relationships with fitness facility members, promoting a sense of community and trust.

Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service and childcare experience required.

  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (must have infant, child & adult).

  • At least 6 months of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging projects and activities for children.

  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Genuine enthusiasm and passion for working with children.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
