Job description

Job Title

Assists in the training and supervision of Huntsville Hospital courtesy, call center, security officer, command center, and courier staff. Under the supervision of the assigned Department Supervisor, is responsible for the day to day operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred. Must have the following within initial 90 days of employment:

  • CPR certification
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification
  • State of Alabama Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement & an up to date/current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate is required

Experience: Minimum of one (1-2) year supervisory experience and one (1-2) year customer service experience preferred. Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards. Leadership in health care setting preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous, manner needed. Must possess some computer skills with ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
