Desmond Couple Therapy, Ltd is seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments with clients to identify their psychological needs and create personalized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities during sessions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to guide clients in navigating their emotional and relational dynamics.
  • Deliver engaging and supportive therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring clients feel comfortable and engaged, regardless of their location.
  • Maintain detailed client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, preserving confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Stay informed on current best practices, new therapeutic techniques, and ongoing professional development through workshops and webinars.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and familial conflicts. Our aim is to provide holistic support to our clients, promoting their overall mental health and relationship resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Must hold an active LMFT license in Oregon; licenses such as LCSW or LPC will also be considered.
  • Previous experience (at least 2 years) in providing therapy to individuals and families is essential.
  • Familiarity and comfort with remote counseling practices and technology are necessary to effectively engage with clients.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience in various therapeutic modalities, familiarity with treating clients from diverse backgrounds, and a strong understanding of family systems theory. Additional training in trauma-informed care is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
