Desmond Couple Therapy, Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in Redmond, Oregon. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work comfortably from home while still being part of a dynamic and connected team. Our team utilizes various digital platforms to facilitate effective communication and therapy sessions, ensuring that you have all the tools necessary for success, whether you are meeting with clients in person or through virtual platforms. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs through initial consultations and ongoing evaluations, which may include mental health screenings and family dynamics discussions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or other relevant frameworks.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions, utilizing both in-person consultations and teletherapy platforms, to provide convenient access to your services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA standards, ensuring all information remains confidential and secure.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, webinars, and team meetings to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family issues. You will play a crucial role in aiding clients through various life transitions, helping them develop coping strategies and improved relational skills. Understanding the nuances of cultural and contextual factors influencing mental health in our Oregon community will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Oregon is essential. We also welcome applicants with an LCSW or LPC license.
  • You should have a minimum of two years of experience providing therapy to individuals and families, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics and mental health challenges.
  • Proficiency in both in-person and virtual counseling is expected, alongside a comfort with various telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with specific populations, such as the LGBTQ+ community, youth, or clients dealing with trauma, is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the ability to integrate new methodologies into therapy sessions will set you apart.
  • Previous involvement in community outreach or awareness programs related to mental health could enhance our collective mission.
Compensation and Benefits
