Job description

Priority Towing Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced Dispatcher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in towing, roadside assistance, transportation, logistics, or dispatching and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Our growing company is looking for the right candidate to serve as the primary point of contact between customers and field personnel. Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Compensation:

$14 - $16 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Dispatch tow truck operators and roadside assistance technicians efficiently.
  • Coordinate service calls and communicate updates to customers and drivers.
  • Monitor driver locations, availability, and response times.
  • Accurately enter and update call information in dispatch software.
  • Maintain detailed records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Handle high-volume call periods while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Candidate required to have high school diploma or GED; preference for candidates with associate or bachelorโ€™s degree
  • Candidates with 1+ years of experience as a service dispatcher are preferred
  • Previous work in a customer-facing position
  • Candidate must have great customer service communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with people under stressful and dynamic conditions
  • Previous dispatching experience required; towing industry experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and phone communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
