Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family settings to address a variety of mental health concerns.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and attend workshops to remain informed about current practices and research in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an LCPC will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care that empowers clients to navigate their mental health journey effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and other technologies relevant to counseling practice is also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, depending on experience and availability.
