Job description

Job Title: Construction Inspector

MUST HAVES

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction inspection or construction observation, or as a civil engineering technician.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing construction plans and documentation for infrastructure construction projects.
  • Previous field experience on construction engineering or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction inspection and observation practices for civil infrastructure.
  • Ability to interpret and apply engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Job Description

This role serves as a Construction Inspector, also known as a Construction Services Specialist, responsible for overseeing and reviewing construction activities from the field to ensure projects are built in accordance with engineering plans and specifications. The position focuses on infrastructure projects for municipalities and public utilities, including wastewater treatment plants, stormwater systems, drinking water treatment plants, pump stations, roadway utilities, and especially underground infrastructure for water supply, water treatment, wellfields, and water systems. The inspector supports both field and office functions, helping to ensure quality, compliance, and effective communication among project stakeholders while developing specialized experience in wastewater and water systems infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr.
