You will provide leadership to a large team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve production, quality, and animal welfare goals. In this hands-on role, you will manage daily farm operations, monitor key production metrics, support herd health initiatives, and partner with production and animal health teams to drive results. You will also collaborate with Human Resources on hiring and team development.
The Farm Manager is responsible for maintaining biosecurity, regulatory compliance, inventory management, budgeting, business planning, and operational excellence across the farm.
Assistant Sow Farm Manager
As an Assistant Sow Farm Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the success of a progressive sow production operation. Reporting to the Sow Farm Manager, you will help oversee daily farm operations, lead and develop employees, and ensure the highest standards of animal care, biosecurity, safety, and production performance are achieved. • A collaborative leadership style that motivates and supports your team.
  • The physical ability to thrive in a barn environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, working on your feet most of the day).
  • A commitment to ethical animal care, biosecurity, and safety standards.

What We Offer

  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
  • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package.
  • A company culture grounded in integrity, stewardship, and continuous improvement.
