The Farm Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and general maintenance at a large-scale swine production farm. This hands-on maintenance position supports the reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, feed, water, ventilation, heating, and environmental control systems used throughout the farm.The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, complete mechanical and electrical repairs, replace worn or damaged components, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Frequently transports equipment/ materials/ animals through various areas of the Barn weighing 50 pounds or more.
