We're seeking enthusiastic Food Runners and Bussers to join our vibrant Talon Tribe and contribute to the success of the Rehoboth Beach Country Club.


Position: Food Runner/Busser

Classification: Part-Time, non-exempt

Schedule: varies depending on business volumes

Salary range: $18 per hour (Restaurant) $28 per hour (Banquets)

Location: Rehoboth Beach Country Club, 221 West Side Drive Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

Responsibilities:

Food Runner:

  • Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of dishes to guests.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders and presentation before serving.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our menu items to answer guest inquiries.
  • Foster a seamless communication flow between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Contribute to the overall positive dining experience for our guests.

Busser:

  • Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
  • Assist servers in delivering a smooth dining experience by promptly removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Refill water glasses and assist in any additional tasks that contribute to guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room, including floors and furniture.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the restaurant is well-prepared for each service.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting dining area.
