Job description

Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our Country Life Natural Foods team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing various duties related to receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise within the warehouse, along with ensuring our inventory numbers are accurate. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and possess excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming merchandise against purchase orders or invoices
  • Storing merchandise in designated areas of the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organization
  • Retrieving merchandise from storage for delivery or shipment
  • Performing regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software are a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
