JOB DESCRIPTION:

Make an hourly rate of up to $62 as a NICU Nurse in Chicago, IL. CareRev connects clinicians with flexible per diem shifts in your area. This role is ideal for nurses who want more flexibility in their career and have experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). See specific requirements for this NICU RN shift below.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time inpatient experience as a NICU RN (most recent experience within the last year).
  • Flu shot, fit testing, and TB screening required.
  • Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care.
  • Strong familiarity with managing ventilators, managing CPAP/BIPAP, assisting during bedside procedures such as fetal intubation and midline/central line placement, and managing incubators.
