Job description

RENU Milburn (RM) is a third-generation operation founded in 1959 originally as a retail and commercial flooring business. Throughout 60 years, business has diversified and transformed as we cultivated a leading and innovative full-service General Contracting, Restoration and Construction Management firm, RENU Contracting Restoration. Servicing clients throughout the Long Island, New York tri-state region our dedication to our customers is the foundation of what allowed these two companies to stand together as one.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to prepare orders by processing requests, pulling material, and maintaining the efficient flow of product.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Order fulfillment - stocking and replenishment, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer order
  • Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies
  • Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select the correct products from warehouse racking
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
  • Complete deliveries by driving truck or van; Load and unload trucks
  • Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf areas
  • Assist in vehicles maintenance
  • Shrink-wrap product on loading dock
  • Distributes machinery as jobs are pulled
  • Assist in maintenance of our machinery such as humidifiers, water extractors, grinding machines, rip-up machines, etc.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift certification required
  • Experience with machinery maintenance
  • Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important
  • Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Fundamental software and hardware computer skills are required
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record required
