Parts Counter Sales Job Responsibilities

  • Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter and over the phone

  • Support service technicians by accurately identifying and supplying needed parts

Parts Counter Salesย Qualifications

  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience a plus)

  • Familiarity with OEMย parts lookup systems and electronic catalogs

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Willingness to learn and cross-train in additional areas of the department, including body shop and collision parts operations
