Job description

FOH Counter

The counter employee must be able to multitask and pay attention to detail. He or she will be answering high-volume calls, inputting orders, greeting guests and taking payments. Experience working with a POS system in the restaurant industry and familiarity with 3rd Party (Grubhub, UberEats, etc.) tablets is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide them with menu information
  • Taking customer orders via phone and small dining area (when applicable)
  • Process orders in a timely fashion
  • Total bill and accept payment
  • Work counter and cash drawer
  • Bag food for deliveries
  • Refill stations
  • Stocking
  • Communicate with kitchen personal
  • Ensure all items are prepared and served accurately
  • Ensure all elements of customers' orders are included when bagging food
  • Complete opening, midday, and close side duties as assigned
