Summary
You will serve as a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC TRAINING LEADER in the Production Resources Training Division (900T), Production Resources Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Help
  • You will provide formalized and practical instruction to motivate trainee in achieving course objectives.
  • You will maintain and evaluate trainees' classroom performance.
  • You will administer course examination and records grades.
  • You will counsel trainees on the advantages of completing the self-development program in accordance with policies and practices established by Shipyard and Production instructions.
  • You will maintain grades, certification records and class attendance sheets.
  • You will instruct work procedure training to ensure proper and safe work performance using NAVSHIPYDPEARL Process Instructions, NAVSEA Instructions, NAVSEA Technical Manuals, Shipyard Safety Manual and OSH Safety Notices.
  • You will instruct nuclear qualification, requalification, refresher and skill training courses.

  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position requires that the selectee have visual acuity and accurate color discrimination.
