This remote position allows Licensed Professional Counselors to deliver services through a telehealth platform, which enhances patient access while fostering a dynamic clinical environment. • Provide mental health assessments, conducting intake interviews and evaluations to develop detailed treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers to identify mental health issues and propose appropriate treatment interventions.
• Conduct focused therapeutic sessions, offering brief interventions for patients in need of mental health support, while monitoring progress and modifying treatment strategies as required.
• Facilitate follow-up appointments to assess patient progress and determine necessary adjustments in care plans.
• Develop relapse prevention strategies for patients at risk of deterioration in their mental health status.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously in an electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with agency guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Act as a resource for primary care providers regarding patients’ mental health needs, advising when referrals to specialized services are appropriate.
• Assist in enhancing patient self-management skills by providing educational materials and strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Participate in inter-departmental meetings to discuss collective goals, outcomes, and evaluation of behavioral health services.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of community resources to assist patients in navigating external support services effectively.

Our Licensed Professional Counselors work with a diverse population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. We emphasize a holistic approach that considers cultural, social, and economic factors affecting mental health. Counselors will utilize evidence-based practices to deliver critical support, ensuring therapeutic interventions align with the specific needs of our patients.

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is mandatory.
• Current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license.
• Strong understanding of mental health assessment, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documentation and management of patient care.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to relate to patients from various backgrounds and cultures.

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to effectively serve a broader patient demographic.
• Familiarity with the community resources available for mental health support and treatment in Oregon.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
