Job description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Long-Term Care

LP Therapy

LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities: carry out established plans of care; assist patients with daily living skills and functional activities; fabricate and adapt splints and assistive devices; help design and modify patient environments; educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment; complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards.

Qualifications: Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant; current state COTA license; LTC experience preferred; knowledge of Medicare documentation; strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Work Environment: LTC facility; physical demands consistent with therapy services, including lifting and mobility assistance.
