What You'll Do:
The Wardrobe Assistant has a vital role supporting the wardrobe team in maintaining, organizing, and managing costumes for a large entertainment cast.
Responsibilities:
• Follow established steps of service to ensure a smooth and efficient costume process
• Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating effectively with team members
• Possesses foundational knowledge of garment construction to perform basic alterations and straightforward stitching or repair projects with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
• Attend a pre-shift meeting with the Wardrobe Lead and Entertainment team to review the show schedule and costume needs
• Assist in preparing and organizing costumes, accessories, and footwear for performers
• Assist in costume cleaning procedures, including steaming, spot-cleaning, and laundering as needed
• Distribute, collect, and track costumes, props, and accessories
• Enforce visual standards for costumed characters' silhouettes and presentation
• Ensure efficient backstage costume procedures
• Work closely with the Wardrobe Lead, performers, and Entertainment team to coordinate costume needs
• Review daily entertainment schedules and reports to ensure wardrobe needs align with performance requirements
• Check costumes for any damage or missing pieces, notifying the Wardrobe Lead of necessary repairs
• Log any issues, missing items, or supply shortages
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by Entertainment leadership
Qualifications:
• 18+ years of age
• Formal education in theatre or costume design, and/or equivalent experience managing wardrobe for large casts (20+ performers)
• Strong knowledge of backstage procedures, costume care, and character integrity
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about serving others
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
• Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position
• This position requires consistent availability for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shifts, as well as Sunday morning shifts, on an ongoing basis. Candidates must be able to reliably
work these required shifts as part of the regular schedule expectations for the role. Availability for these shifts is a condition of employment for this position. This availability is also an essential function of the role.

Role Specific Physical amp; Environmental Demands:
• Able to use manual dexterity, gross and fine motor skills for sewing, fastening, and handling delicate fabrics
• Potential hand fatigue, wrist strain, or musculoskeletal discomfort due to continuous sewing, cutting, and fabric handling

Physical amp; Environmental Demands
• Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
• Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
• Able to stand for extended periods and walk briskly throughout the shift
• Able to work in confined spaces and varying lighting conditions
• Able to multitask and maintain speed, accuracy, and composure under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue
