Job description

PURPOSE

As showroom coordinator, this role is responsible for upkeep of the flooring showroom, including sample management and general sales support tasks. This role is best filled by someone is a self-starter, and is looking for new and creative ways to enhance the selling and shopping experience of Standale Home Studio. This type of role has potential to grow into a future sales/design position as knowledge of the industry grows. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Standale Home Studio showroom through sample management and various sales support tasks.
  • Manage price lists from vendors, ensuring to update pricing in FloorZap. (Selling software)
  • Act as back up to reception desk and other office personnel when needed.
  • Support Costco sales program by guiding customers to specific product when Costco sales rep is not available. 
  •  Prepares routine correspondence, office forms and/or other business related documents.
  •  Performs data entry/retrieval functions.
  •  Handles Incoming and Outgoing mail and interoffice communications.
  • May perform office supply inventory and replenishment services.
  • May arrange meetings and conferences; maintains calendars and makes travel reservations.
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one (1) year administrative or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
