Regional Manager, Retail and Events
Job Responsibilities:
The Regional Promotions Manager leads the field marketing strategy and executes the face-to-face lead generation stream, growing brand awareness and customer engagement with the instore promoter teams across multiple regions.
Essential Job Duties:
Hiring, Training & People Development - 40%
  • Develop Promoters on the day-to-day tactical activities, performance and growth.
  • Coach, train, develop and maintain Promoter pipeline.
  • Recruit, hire, and maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet department goals in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Follow-up and manage company objectives and goals with the leadership.
  • Conduct weekly one-to-one meetings with Promoters to review performance, goals and strategy
  • Keep abreast of weekly training & productivity and report results to leadership
  • Manage and mentor support staff, including Admins and Show Builders, ensure they are adhering to deadlines; provide growth plans when applicable

Events/Store - 40%
  • Research, recommend and drive targeted marketing plans for regional opportunities
  • Innovate new ideas/concepts to encourage engagement in both Costco and shows/events
  • Provide analysis of team results & discuss improvement strategies
  • Communicate, train and promote company policies, procedures and existing face-to-face programs
  • Oversee expenses for events /store team
  • Develop strategy and deploy plans to achieve weekly, monthly and annual goals; report progress and toggle plans based on results

Development of Strategy - 20%
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing and the branch General Manager on generating new face-to-face opportunities for all brands, projecting both short-and-long term goal; forecast KPI's
  • Forecast and report monthly KPI's based on each region's budgeted hours
  • Optimized event marketing strategy derived from evaluation tested hypotheses, and analysis of conversion rates
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet company goals and identify opportunities for streamlining communication and processes
  • Implement effective marketing and hiring strategies conducive to company standards
  • Track and evaluate department performance while collaborating with Vice President of Marketing and the branch General Manager on necessary changes and / or suggestions.
  • Develop department forecasts including staffing requirements

General Duties:
  • Make Customers, Staff and Vendors Happy
  • Drive company goals for the Field Promotions Department
  • Provide leadership and training to execute on the marketing plans and ensuring goals and expectations are being met for both Costco and retail shows/events; accountable for hitting lead generated KPI's.

Travel Requirement:
Must travel to Costco and event locations to ensure Costco Roadshows and event show requirements are met.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated management or leadership experience
  • Lead setting experience in face-to-face marketing, preferred
