Job description

Our client, a growing leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance and Complaint Handling Laboratory team, supporting product investigations, laboratory testing, and quality compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and a quality-focused mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Lab Technician
Location: Tempe, AZ
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Contract Length: Approximately 6 Months

What's the Job?
  • Perform complaint sample testing, evaluation, and analysis in a laboratory environment.
  • Collect, document, and maintain accurate testing and investigation records following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Clean, disinfect, decontaminate, store, and dispose of laboratory samples according to established procedures.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment, measuring instruments, and microscopes to conduct testing and analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, GLP, biosafety, and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous process improvements.
What's Needed?
  • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of laboratory, quality assurance, medical device, or related technical experience.
  • Experience working in regulated environments following GMP, GLP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
