Job Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Cost Driver & Project Manager to lead and deliver cost reduction initiatives across our the region you're hired in. This role will identify, prioritize, and execute cross-functional cost optimization opportunities while driving measurable bottom-line impact.
You will partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality and Supply Chain teams to systematically reduce product and operational costs without compromising quality, delivery, or innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Reduction Strategy & Execution
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize cost-down opportunities across products, materials, logistics, and processes
  • Lead structured cost reduction projects from ideation through implementation and tracking
  • Drive Value Engineering (VE) and Design-to-Cost (DtC) initiatives
  • Develop and execute cost roadmaps aligned with business targets
  • Supply Resiliency projects that reduce escalations and improve operational efficiency

  • Manage multiple cost optimization projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and savings targets are achieved

Supplier & External Engagement
  • Support supplier cost reduction initiatives and negotiations
  • Evaluate alternative suppliers, materials, and technologies
  • Drive cost transparency across the supply base

What your background should look like
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Cost reduction / cost engineering / sourcing / operations
    • Project or program management
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment

Preferred
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification
  • ERP (SAP) and cost modeling tools experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $93,200 - $116,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
