Project Coordinator- IN

Position: Project Coordinator– Full Time

Department: Homer Tree Service, Inc. – ANDERSON, IN

 

Job Summary: The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects and handles administrative support for project teams. They maintain project schedules, track progress and provide status updates to clients and management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research and solicit new projects from conception to completion
  • Perform quantity take offs on blueprints for small to large construction projects
  • Research and analyze technical contract specifications
  • Execute bid books
  • Manage team goals, project schedules, and information flow
  • Handle project-related paperwork, prepare proposals, memos, and emails
  • Acts as a liaison between company, contractors and clients
  • Interacts with clients to define project requirements and objectives
  • Addresses questions, concerns or complaints regarding the project
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in project support or office admin preferred
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with clients and internal teams
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to evaluate problems and propose solutions
  • Understand budget adherence and cost control
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, specifically Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team
