What You'll Do

As a Cosmetologist, you will provide professional hair and beauty services while creating a warm, relaxing, and personalized experience for every guest.

Your services may include:

  • Shampooing, cutting, coloring, styling, and treating hair
  • Scalp massage and hair/scalp treatments
  • Blowouts, special occasion styling, wigs, and hairpieces
  • Makeup application, hair removal, nail care, and skin care services, and esti services based on your certifications
  • Recommending hairstyles, treatments, and products based on each guest's needs
  • Educating guests on products, services, and at-home care
  • Recommending additional spa services that may benefit the guest
  • Bringing in and servicing your own outside clientele as we are a public salon

You will also help keep our spa running smoothly by:

  • Starting and ending services on time
  • Appropriate all black dress code business casual
  • Following sanitation, disinfection, and universal precaution standards
  • Keeping your station clean, stocked, and ready for each guest
  • Maintaining client notes and treatment cards when needed
  • Completing assigned side work and daily cleaning
  • Letting leadership know when product or supply needs arise
  • Attending team meetings and professional training opportunities
  • Supporting your teammates and helping create a welcoming environment for everyone
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is professional, dependable, energetic, and passionate about beauty and guest service.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A valid state cosmetology license
  • Someone with a clientele any size
  • Someone who can also take on new clients of The Ridge
  • Previous salon, spa, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong hair styling and beauty service skills

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:
