Assistant Department Manager Cosmetics
The Assistant Department Manager, Cosmetics, is a developmental position used to educate and prepare the individual for the responsibilities of the Department Manager position. You would be responsible for assisting the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department as well as other management duties as required. ย 
In addition to the above duties, this is a customer service position which requires a great deal of customer contact. Accordingly, you must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment while at the same time providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner. ย 
Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum one year of management retail experience, however applicants without management experience may also be considered. You will have extensive knowledge of cosmetic products, combined with strong skills in merchandising and creative display of product, and professional sales experience.
Your proven ability to build the business will include a strong dedication to following and enforcing all Company policies, procedures, and standards as well as an ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and management.ย

For more flexibility, as a Regular Part-Time employee, you will be scheduled a minimum of 1456 hours per year, up to 40 hours per week and must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, for day and evening shifts. From time to time, this position requires the successful candidate to transfer from one store to another, or to work in other locations depending on organizational need and career development opportunities. Mode of transportation will be the responsibility of the employee.
