Job Title: Automotive Detailer / Reconditioning Specialist


Position Overview


The Automotive Detailer at our Porsche Centre is responsible for the complete cosmetic preparation and restoration of new, pre-owned, and client vehicles. This role requires an uncompromising eye for detail, deep knowledge of premium surface care, and a passion for maintaining the peerless visual standards of the Porsche brand. You will ensure every vehicle delivers an exceptional visual experience to our guests.


Key Responsibilities


  • Precision Cleaning: Perform flawless exterior washing, clay bar treatment, and multi-stage paint decontamination.
  • Paint Correction: Execute professional machine buffing, polishing, and swirl/scratch removal using dual-action and rotary polishers.
  • Interior Reconditioning: Deep-clean luxury materials including fine leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber, and delicate stitching using specialized, manufacturer-approved products.
  • Advanced Protection: Apply high-end ceramic coatings, paint sealants, and premium waxes to exterior surfaces.
  • New Vehicle Delivery: Prepare brand-new Porsche models for client delivery, ensuring zero factory transit residues or imperfections remain.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Routinely inspect and detail showroom vehicles and lot inventory to maintain a immaculate presentation.
  • Quality Control: Conduct rigorous final inspections to meet both Porsche corporate standards and dealership client expectations.


Required Qualifications


  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive detailing experience, preferably with luxury or exotic brands.
  • Material Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various automotive chemicals, paint types, and luxury interior fabrics.
  • Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to safely maneuver high-performance vehicles.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience detailing specialized Porsche sports cars, classics, or matte/satin factory paint finishes.
  • Certification from a recognized detailing academy or paint protection film (PPF) installation experience.
  • Strong time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines without compromising quality.
