Job description

Must have Snowflake Cortex experience to be considered
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Snowflake Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake Cortex to design, build, and guide customers in delivering production-grade AI and machine learning use cases on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating customer business problems into scalable Cortex -powered solutions spanning generative AI, RAG, LLM functions, and ML workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers to identify high-value AI/ML use cases and architect end-to-end solutions using Snowflake Cortex ( Cortex AISQL, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, and fine-tuning).
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using Cortex Search and vector embeddings.
  • Build conversational analytics and text-to-SQL experiences using Cortex Analyst over structured data.
  • Leverage Cortex LLM functions (COMPLETE, SUMMARIZE, SENTIMENT, TRANSLATE, EXTRACT_ANSWER, CLASSIFY) within SQL and Python workflows.
  • Configure Cortex Sense to assemble shared business context that grounds CoWork and CoCo agents for higher accuracy out of the box.
  • Expose Cortex Agents, semantic views, and search services as tools via Snowflake-managed MCP servers for reuse across MCP-compatible clients.
  • Enable customers to build with Snowflake CoCo - the Snowflake-native, data-aware AI coding agent - to accelerate data engineering, ML pipelines, app and agent development that respects catalog, lineage, and RBAC.
  • Develop and deploy ML models using Snowflake ML, Snowpark, and Model Registry; operationalize feature engineering and inference at scale.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or ML engineering, with 3+ years hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building AI/GenAI solutions, ideally with Snowflake Cortex or comparable LLM/ML platforms.
  • Strong SQL and Python; proficiency with Snowpark.
  • Solid understanding of LLM concepts: prompting, embeddings, vector search, RAG, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
  • Experience designing secure, governed cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills for customer-facing engagements
