Scope, Accountability & Impact (Senior Level)

  • Typically 7 10 years of experience across data platforms, analytics, or AI-adjacent architectures.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience, including direct production experience with Snowflake Cortex.
  • Designs and enables AI-driven and LLM-powered analytics within established platform guardrails.
  • Escalates AI, data exposure, and governance risks to Platform Architects.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Cortex & AI Enablement

  • Act as a Snowflake Cortex subject matter expert, working with other Cortex SMEs and Platform Architects to operationalize AI-driven and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Design and guide adoption of Cortex-powered analytics, LLM-assisted querying, and insight generation.
  • Ensure Cortex usage aligns with security, governance, and enterprise data policies.

AI-Driven Analytics & Use Case Design

  • Translate business problems into Cortex-enabled analytics solutions.
  • Define patterns for AI-assisted analytics and natural-language interaction with governed data.
  • Ensure AI outputs are explainable, auditable, and repeatable.

Data Semantics & AI Readiness

  • Partner with Data Platform Architects to ensure semantic views and certified datasets are AI-ready.
  • Advise on shaping medallion layers and curated views for Cortex consumption.

Governance, Risk & Responsible AI

  • Collaborate with security and governance teams to define responsible AI guardrails.
  • Support compliant and controlled adoption of Cortex capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Direct, hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex (required).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake as an enterprise analytics platform.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted or advanced analytics on governed enterprise data.

Preferred / Strong Plus Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360).
  • Experience with Salesforce Agentforce.
  • Experience with equivalent native analytics or AI capabilities on other platforms.
  • Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Core and SnowPro Advanced Architect.
