Job description

Company Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to succeed. This role offers the opportunity to represent our company's products/services and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our offerings
  5. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards targets
  6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to close sales and secure long-term partnerships
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  9. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for budgeting and management review

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, stand, drive and sit.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is fr equently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • The employee frequently drives to/from customers and prospects and may experience hazardous driving conditions.

Performance Measurements: The performance of the sales representative will be measured as follows

  • Operating Standards: The employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards set in the area of sales and customer service. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the representative
  • Personal growth: each year, there will be professional goals developed and agreed to by the representative and manager
  • Employee Relations: the employee will be evaluated regarding behaviors associated with appropriate human interaction, respect and communication
  • Creativity: This will be evaluated by how active the employee is in participating in advancing the business through new and innovative ideas.
