Fuel Dispatcher

on-site in Brighton, MI | Full-Time | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | Start Time: 4:00 AM

What You'll Do

You'll be the hub of our transportation operation by:

  • Dispatching fuel transport drivers and managing daily delivery routes.
  • Monitoring driver locations, hours of service, and ELD compliance.
  • Making real-time routing adjustments as customer needs change.
  • Coordinating emergency deliveries and schedule changes.
  • Working closely with drivers, fleet maintenance, customer service, and billing.
  • Providing customers with accurate delivery updates and ETAs.
  • Planning efficient routes that maximize productivity while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Supporting a safe, compliant, and efficient transportation operation.

Experience with dispatching, transportation logistics, GPS/ELD systems, trucking operations, or fleet coordination is highly valued.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of local geography and commercial vehicle operations is preferred.
  • Ability to learn dispatch and routing software.
  • Ability to successfully pass a 7-year criminal background check.
  • Dispatch experience is highly preferred
