    • Correctional Care
    • Correctional Medicine
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
    • Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to incarcerated individuals in a structured clinical setting. You will manage acute and chronic conditions, work closely with healthcare and facility staff, and contribute to quality patient care in a correctional environment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Provide sick-call coverage and same-day medical evaluations Develop and monitor treatment plans Educate patients regarding medications, disease management, and preventive healthcare Maintain accurate documentation within the NextGen EMR system Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure quality patient care
Schedule and Shift Details 4-day work week, day shift, no weekends, standard holiday schedule
Travel stipend provided for providers traveling more than 50 miles from primary residence
