Job Summary
This position provides financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for the North America Commercial organization and all corresponding departments within Harley-Davidson. The position will provide leadership, insight and analysis within key areas of responsibility with high impact and executive level visibility with particular focus on North America Motorcycle sales revenue and volume performance. The position will also deliver analysis and execution of related month-end, forecast and budget processes within the North America Commercial organization.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provides business analysis in high impact areas with executive level visibility including market share analysis and retail price actualization reporting
  • Provides leadership, analysis and execution of North America Motorcycle pricing from process planning to research and insights gathering and ultimately publishing
  • Assists North America Commercial directors and managers with financial analysis and insights within areas of responsibility
  • Provides comprehensive financial support including but not limited to monthly performance reports, ad hoc financial modeling and analysis, revenue variance analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions when needed
  • Coordinates development and assists in preparation of all budgets and forecasts for North America Motorcycle volume and revenue in accordance with the financial planning calendar
  • Executes month-end close deliverables including recording month-end journal entries/ accruals in accordance with corporate timelines and accounting principles
  • Trains new analysts and stakeholders throughout areas of responsibility and provides any necessary guidance and direction
  • Assumes leadership responsibility as necessary, including being an advocate for new ideas and serving as an example for coworkers in demonstrating Fairness, Honesty, Creativity, and Positivity
  • Providing financial oversight, input and review of financial system enhancements and systems project work related to North America Commercial financial processes

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Education Specifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years related work and/or corporate finance experience
  • Exceptional command in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling
  • Ability to synthesize complex data/information into actionable insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with and present to all levels of management
  • Self-motivated and self-starter continuously looking for process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining broader, analytical perspective
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or commercial business area is preferred
  • SAP and BPC financial systems experience preferred

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
