What You Can Expect

Lead and support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of mergers & acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnership opportunities in support of Zimmer Biomet's inorganic growth strategy. Serve as a key contributor across the full transaction lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, valuation and business case development, due diligence leadership, transaction execution, and post-transaction planning. Partner closely with Corporate Development leadership, business unit leaders, Corporate Strategy, and cross-functional stakeholders to advance high-quality deal flow and support informed strategic decision-making. Build and maintain relationships with external advisors, bankers, and other intermediaries to support efficient execution and opportunity development.

How You'll Create Impact
  • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and business case development for M&A, investment, and partnership opportunities.
  • Drive key aspects of transaction evaluation, including strategic fit assessment, market analysis, competitive review, and risk identification.
  • Lead diligence workstreams across finance, legal, tax, strategy, regulatory, and business unit teams to support efficient and thorough evaluation of opportunities.
  • Partner with business units and Corporate Strategy to prioritize opportunities aligned to Zimmer Biomet's growthobjectives and portfolio strategy.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and executive-ready materials, including transaction summaries, investment memos,presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Support transaction execution activities, including process management, issue resolution, timeline tracking, advisor coordination, and document review.
  • Contribute to deal structuring discussions and negotiation preparation by evaluating strategic, financial, andoperational tradeoffs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, external advisors, and other intermediaries to support a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities.
  • Help guide post-transaction planning activities, including integration readiness, milestone tracking, and performance follow-up as assigned.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Corporate Development processes, templates, tools, and analyticalframeworks to drive consistency and efficiency across transactions.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and provide guidance on modeling, research, and transaction processexecution.
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Strong experience in M&A, investments, strategic partnerships, and/or corporate development, ideally withinMedTech, medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Strong understanding of valuation, transaction economics, business case development, and diligence workflows.
  • Ability to independently lead complex analyses and manage multiple transaction workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect market trends, competitive dynamics, and portfolio priorities to opportunity assessment.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 8 years relevant experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, business development, strategic finance, or strategy.
  • Preferred: Direct experience leading core components of M&A or investment transaction processes, including financial analysis, due diligence, and execution support.
  • Preferred: Strong financial modeling and business case development experience supporting investment, acquisition, or partnership decisions.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in the MedTech, medical device, or broader life sciences industry preferred, with familiarity in orthopedic or surgical markets a plus.
