We are Suser Restaurant Group comprised of Sparkies Kitchen & Bar, Stella's Table and Union 212 Banquet Hall located in the lakes area of Oakland County. We invite you to join our talented team that is committed to providing an amazing  experience  to our guests whom we treat like family!
We are seeking a highly organized catering coordinator to manage our catering and events facility. The catering coordinators responsibilities will include welcoming guests, coordinating décor, event planning, communication with our Chef's, maintaining inventory, supervising event staff and ensuring that the facility meets all sanitation and health regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a personable demeanor, a passion for customer service, good networking skills, be organized, have an eye for details and have experience in the food service or hospitality industry. You must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.  
Catering Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate all events with a timeline to ensure that every event runs smoothly and efficient
- Maintain an inventory off all catering supplies, both on and off site
- Manage staffing schedules and labor costs
- Welcome all guests in a courteous and timely manner 
- Assist sales coordinator as needed
- Oversee and assist in set up and breakdown of events both on and off site
- Sanitation and cleaning 
- Maintain a high professional demeanor
Catering Coordinator Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and punctual
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Able to lift over 30 pound's
