Job description

The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing audiovisual systems at client sites. This role involves hands-on technical support for conference rooms, classrooms, corporate offices, event spaces, and other facilities. The technician ensures reliable system performance and delivers excellent customer service in the field.
 
Salary: $70,000-95,000/year depending on education and experience
 
Responsibilities:
  • Service AV systems, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, control systems, and video conferencing equipment
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of hardware, software, and network-related AV issues
  • Maintain and repair AV cabling infrastructure (HDMI, CAT6, fiber, control wiring)
  • Commission and test systems to ensure proper operation and client satisfaction
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks
  • Respond to service calls and emergency support requests as needed
