Overview
Pay: $19 - $23
Schedule: Monday -Thursday 7:45am - 5:00 pm and Friday 7:45am - 1:00pm
Location: White House, TN
Are you a Registered Dental Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in patients' oral health? Do you take pride in providing exceptional care and educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene?
If so, Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is the place for you! As our RDA, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients.
We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles and better health while creating "wow" experiences at every visit!
Responsibilities
  • Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment
  • Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
  • Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards
  • Have coronal polishing certification - We are able to provide a sealant course!
  • Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian
  • Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns
  • Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures
  • Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible
  • Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit
  • Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
  • Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state

Qualifications
  • Current State of TN RDA License
  • Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Polishing and Radiology Certification
