Job description

Corewell Health Family Medicine SJ is hiring a physician for their new clinic.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity and a generous starting bonus!
Appointments of 15 or 30 minutes include; acutes, follow ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvics, and typical primary care procedures; I & D, joint injections. The team includes 2 physicians and 3 full-time APPs. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekends.
This is a great opportunity for providers with student loans! Corewell Health Family Medicine St Joseph, qualifies for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. Award recipients, selected through the program's application process, may receive up to $100,000 for three years of full-time service!
Fluency dictation available. We are also excited to offer Abridge, a generative AI platform for clinical conversations, which allows you to focus on your patients and improve efficiency. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as our EHR.
Essential Functions
  • Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
  • Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
  • Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
  • Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
  • Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
  • Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
  • Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
  • Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
    Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
