Patient Services and Patient Access Representative
Available in Multiple Locations 

  • San Jose, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Oakland and Burlingame, CA

Pay Range: $24-29/hour (Rate varies by location and shift)

Shifts: (May need some flexibility)

  • 8am-5pm
  • 7am-4pm
  • Night shift is available in some locations.

Join our team as a Patient Services Representative or Patient Access professionals, where you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring an exceptional experience during their visits. Responsibilities include patient registration, verifying insurance, collecting co-payments, and providing support throughout the patient care process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and verify demographic, financial, and insurance information.
  • Accurately process patient registrations and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Calculate and collect payments such as co-pays and deductibles.
  • Provide excellent customer service, helping patients with inquiries and directions.
  • Collaborate with financial counselors on complex cases.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. 
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in patient access or customer service preferred.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes and medical terminology.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
