Job Description
The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organisation experiencing tremendous growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core solutions. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.
We are seeking a team member who can navigate complexity to identify B2B commercial payment solutions to solve for clients' and partners' business problems and drive opportunities to advance the VCS business.
This role sits at the intersection of agentic AI, B2B payments, virtual cards, and data-driven decisioning, working directly with clients, partners, and internal teams to design and deliver next-generation commercial payment solutions.
The Manager, B2B Solution Design - is responsible for leading client- and partner-facing solution design for B2B commercial payments use cases, translating existing and emerging business models into scalable, secure payment architectures. This includes deep solutioning across virtual cards, commercial data, APIs, embedded payments, and orchestration layers that enable AI-driven procurement, payables automation, dynamic controls, and intelligent reconciliation.
Role Focus
As a solution design leader, you will act as a strategic and technical advisor to clients and partners, helping them by leveraging the full breadth of Visa Commercial Solutions and the broader Visa ecosystem.
  • Virtual cards as programmable, policy-driven payment instruments
  • Commercial data as a critical enabler for automation, reconciliation, and insight
  • API- and platform-based integrations across ERP, procurement, and fintech ecosystems
  • Client and partner engagement remains central, with a strong emphasis on co-creation, discovery, and scalable solutioning.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Expertise in B2B payments, with hands-on experience in virtual cards, APIs, embedded payments, and data-driven solutions.
  • Understanding of agentic AI concepts and how autonomous systems interact with payment, identity, controls, and data.
  • Natural curiosity to explore the art of the possible and the ability to diagnose business problems and bring accurate, repeatable solutions to market.
  • A passion for working with clients and demonstrated leadership in delivering powerful solutions to clients and partners.
  • Experience in Product Development, Sales, and Solution Design.
  • Collaborative skills to work closely with product leaders, sales teams, regional leaders, and client services.
  • Ability to work across functions and influence / motivate those around you to achieve results.
  • Understanding of both the business and technical aspects of payments and a track record of delivering solutions that exceed client expectations
  • Strategic thinking, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must be creative and hands-on, have a bias towards action and inspire others with their vision.

Responsibilities:
Solution Leadership
  • Lead scoping and solution design for B2B commerce use cases
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Visa Commercial Solutions
  • Translate emerging agentic business models into secure, scalable Visa-enabled payment solutions.

Client & Partner Solutioning
  • Lead client and partner discovery sessions, workshops, and technical deep dives to understand business needs.
  • Scope, design, and articulate end-to-end solutions that integrate Visa capabilities with client platforms, ERPs, ISVs, fintechs, and AI agents.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Product Influence
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Client Services to translate solution insights into product requirements and roadmap input.
  • Identify repeatable solution patterns and scalable use cases that can be industrialized across regions and segments.

Go-to-Market & Execution
  • Support go-to-market strategy by contributing to solution narratives, enablement materials, and client-facing collateral.
  • Partner with Sales and regional solution teams to advance opportunities, support deal closure, and ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders and executives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD).

Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in product management or solutioning roles, with a strong focus on Commercial solutions.
  • Expertise in eInvoicing, ISVs, commercial payments and familiarity with market needs and trends.
  • Proven ability to drive product development from concept to launch.
  • Works independently with limited supervision. Must be able to influence teams in a matrix environment to get things done effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communications. Able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organised manner.
  • Innovator who can create new solutions using out-of-the-box thinking and Visa's full product and solution set.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, explore new ideas and be flexible with changing priorities.

U.S. Applicants Only
The estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
