• Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific mental health needs.
• Deliver effective individual counseling sessions, and if qualified, facilitate family, couples, or group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and growth.
• Administer mental health screenings and ongoing assessments to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document sessions and maintain accurate client records in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the organization to ensure holistic care and comprehensive service delivery.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including attending workshops, seminars, and clinical supervision to enhance therapeutic skills.
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization and the needs of the clients.

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and their families. The clinic addresses a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, providing them the tools needed to cope and thrive in their family and community settings.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field.
• Possession of a valid license: LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker).
• Strong understanding of counseling theories, techniques, and best practices essential for effective therapeutic interventions.
• Awareness of current trends in mental health and family counseling practices.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working directly with individuals facing mental and behavioral health issues.
• Experience in treating co-occurring disorders and providing individual and group therapy, as well as substance abuse treatment.
