Job description

Current Secret or TS/SCI level security clearance preferred, but not required day 1 Summary: • Develop and integrate custom software components using Big Data and Cloud technology. • Design and implement core software architecture. • Leverage expertise in Cloud platforms, modern programming languages, and container orchestration. • Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Agile methodologies. Qualifications & Compensation: Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Years of experience: 9+ years Salary: $271k+ yearly compensation Job Description: • Develop, integrate, and deploy custom software components primarily in Python and Go. • Design and implement robust core software architecture. • Utilize AWS services for cloud-based development and deployment. • Integrate open-source code within Big Data and Cloud technology environments. • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm. • Administer and optimize Linux operating systems and environments. • Establish and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Gitlab and Jenkins. • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in software development, leveraging tools like JIRA and Confluence. • Manage configuration and automation with Puppet and Ansible. • Work with version control systems, including Git. • Apply expertise in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Apache Spark. • Perform Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (I&T) activities. • Utilize development and infrastructure tools including Maven and VMWare.
