The Mortgage Lending Processor is responsible for processing all mortgage applications as well as prepare, generate, and disclose mortgage TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) packages with minimal tolerance cures. Additionally, this position is responsible for triaging applications within the Loan Origination Software to ensure the most accurate data has been collected and is entered appropriately to align with the mortgage programs.

What you will doโ€ฆ
  • Obtain and track all necessary documentation required for loan underwriting; follow up on missing documents.
  • Review title commitments to ensure a clear title, collaborating with the title company to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Verify all conditions and requirements are met to move files to final underwriting, and update loan files with new documentation from borrowers.
  • Process appraisal and credit report fees using the Core system or third-party system.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with loan advisors to ensure seamless coordination throughout the loan process.
  • Index and image loan documents accurately.
  • Order essential documentation such as title, appraisal, and verification of employment (VOE).
  • Prepare, generate, and disclose initial loan disclosures accurately and within compliance, based on the loan advisorโ€™s information, minimizing tolerance cures.
  • Review property details (e.g., HOA dues, county taxes) through Zillow or other relevant sources and obtain the latest property tax statements when applicable.
  • Collaborate with closing attorneys, title companies, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
  • Review and input data into the loan origination system to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide in-person and phone support for members.
  • Follow all lending policies, guidelines, and procedures. in accordance with organization standards, as well as state and federal regulations and compliance requirements
What you needโ€ฆ
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • NMLS license or ability to obtain an NMLS license within 30 days of hire
  • Be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, mortgage origination systems.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a high-pressure fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in Loan Origination Software systems
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written and must have the ability to handle multiple projects at one time and see them through completion with a sense of urgency.
