Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Catheterization Lab position at a Level 3 Trauma, Certified Chest Pain Center hospital in Shelby, NC, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active NC or compact RN license.
Job Details
• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory unit within a 241-bed, Level 3 Trauma, Certified Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center hospital,
• 12-hour day shifts, 0700-1900, 36 hours per week,
• Epic EMR; Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing system in use,
• Holiday coverage expected for 75% of assigned holidays,
Job Requirements
• Active NC or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Minimum 1 year of core Cath Lab RN experience required, with most recent experience within the last year,
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration,
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year required, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN,
Additional Information
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted,
• Orientation includes facility-wide NEO plus 2 days of departmental orientation,
• Former employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated from a permanent position for at least 1 year before being eligible,
• Free parking is available on-site,
• A manager interview is required as part of the selection process
