Job Description: Cross posting for job ID 3382524 Client offer but will be sent for clinical review 13 weeks Days Can offer 36 or 48 hours Every other weekend, every other holiday Unit has a self scheduling model that manager will explain in call, does not guarantee desired schedule but will do best to accommodate Must have level 4 NICU experience Cardiac PICU experience preferred Working the children's hospital RRT cert, BLS and NRP required Can submit with VA license pending provided can obtain temp before start, must have another state license in order to be eligible for temp ACCS preferred

Special Procedures/Unit Details: UVA Health Children's provides primary and specialty care in more than 30 specialties throughout the commonwealth and beyond. Located within University Medical Center, UVA Health Children's includes 111 beds, a pediatric emergency department, a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for infants and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for children younger than 18. UVA offers a complex congenital heart program that accepts patients with all types of congenital cardiac defects including transplants and ECMO. Special Equipment: Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A.

Facility Policies: Floating: Travelers must float within their scope of practice as needed. Mileage Rule: Select units have a 50-mile travel restriction. Locals are not accepted for the following units: Clinical Lab Blood Bank, Toxicology, Clinical Lab Scientist, Core Lab, Davis Lab, Laboratory, Histotechnologists, Outpatient Surgery Center PACU, OR - CVOR, OR, OR - Ortho, OR - Thoracic, OR - Neuro, Peri-Anesthesia, Sterile Processing Tech, Outpatient Surgery, Interventional Radiology, CT Tech, Diagnostic Rad Tech, MRI Radiology, Neuro Interventional Radiology- RN, Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech, Vein Clinic, Radiology RN, Imaging Support Separation Policy: Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away. Education: BSN preferred. Modules: Up to 16 non-billable hours; additional time is billable. Completed during orientation Specialty-specific Recorded in Workday
